Welcome
Welcome to UC Riverside's Conference on Undergraduate Education in the Life Sciences website. We are very excited to be hosting a conference where instructors can share best practices and explore new trends in instructional innovation. The conference participants will include outside speakers and UCR faculty who are committed to supporting initiatives to improve undergraduate education.
Topics that will be addressed by the conference agenda include:
- New pedagogical approaches for problem-based active learning
- Undergraduate advising and mentoring
- Undergraduate research opportunities
- Strategies to enhance student engagement
- Curricular assessment
- Approaches to enhance the diversity of our life science graduates.
